Webcam eksternal selain yang ada di laptop sebagai bagian yang tidak terpisahkan saat ini dalam komunikasi video call (laptop dan komputer (pc) dan saat zoom, meet, virtual meeting, rapat online, kelas online, webinar dan lainnya membuat webcam eksternal jadi pilihan karena menggunakan webcam laptop tampilan display kurang baik, dan seringkali membuat tidak percaya diri.
